| Description | The Library was housed in East Wing. The Legislature appropriated money for the construction of East Wing in 1901. It was constructed in 1904 and housed administrative offices, library and the auditorium. In 1955, East Wing was renamed Kennedy Hall in honor of C.B. Kennedy, the donor of the original 20 acre college site. In 1956, an addition was built, housing the library and physical science rooms. In 1960, a third story addition was added. In 1983, it was closed as a portion of the east wall collapsed due to storm damage. In 1986 Kennedy Hall was dismantled. |
