TranscriptCROSS COUNTRY Back: Rick Bluedorn, Steve Eggum, Daryl Heggidus, Allan McManigal. Front: Coach Jim Kampen, Don Stadler, Bill Daniels, Dave Gross, Jim Goodman. Cross Country probably requires the most individual effort of all the varsity sports. Five sophomores and two freshmen put forth this effort to compose the 1968 Cross Country team. Leading the team were veteran tracksters Don Stadler, Steve Eggum and Dave Gross. Season highlights were the defeat of Blacks Hills in a dual meet and the competition in the A A U meet at Yankton. 186
