TranscriptThe freshmen, some weary by this time, tote their precious cargo up the long and steep slope to their destination. Many will find that one trip is not sufficient, and will gladly return to the creek level in search of more H2O. For those who are lucky enough to reach the top, with at least a small portion of their load, there is great satisfaction in knowing that they have done their part in manufacturing the great quantities of whitewash needed. After the whitewash has been mixed, it has to be applied (what else?). Just what the whitewash is to be applied to can become a very touchy question at times. 152
