The student branch of A.S.M.E. was founded with the objective of acquainting the members with the technical and professional phases of mechanical engineering. Meetings are held bi-monthly and include programs covering technical and non-technical subjects, with refreshments served after the meetings. Other activities include field trips, the annual student section picnic, the yearly regional conference, active participation in Parents Day, and sponsorship of a school dance. Professor L. W.
