TranscriptNORTHERN 45 TECH 6 Tech played tough on defense in the first quarter forcing Northern to punt on many occasions but Northern's Leidholdt still managed to make two touchdowns. The score at the half was 10-0 with Northern on top. Highlight of the second half was Bill Conley's sprint of 62 yards on a quick opener up the middle. Student Manager Dennis Bitz B.H.T.C. 47 TECH 7 Yellowjackets scored in the opening frame with Middleton reversing his field going 42 yards for a score, and Bovee scoring in the second from the 9 yard line. Louie Riemenschneider, Tech's center, scored Mine's first and only touchdown by recovering Ham's fumble in the end zone. Half score 14-7. After the intermission, fumbles broke the game wide open, Tech was unable to muster a drive, and the teachers seemed to cash in on every break. Thus ended a not too successful season. 125
