DescriptionThe nursing program began in 1954 as a baccalaureate nursing program changing to an Associate of Arts program in November, 1961. Effective the fall of 1998, the degree changed to an Associate of Science in Nursing. In July 2001, the Department of Nursing became part of the Division of Health Sciences.
