TranscriptKenneth enjoyed working on his roadster Kenneth E. Krause, 54, who grew up in Mobridge, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1998 in Edmond, Okla., where he had been making his home. Mass for Kenneth was celebrated Friday, December 4th, 1998 at The jCatholic Parish of Si. John the Baptist inEdmond. Burial was in Mobridge, SD. Kenneth was bom Nov. 12, 1944 in Mobridge to E. Levi and Irene Krause, After attending Mobridge Schools, Kenneth graduated from Augustan a College in Sioux Palls with a degree in physics. He was employed by the Slate Highway Department in Soils and Research in Pierre as a geo-phy si-cist. He was also in computerized process controls and instrumentation. He marriedBeverlyZeller of Miller, a computer program analyst and a graduate of the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. Kenneth received his professional engineering degree from the School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City. He was employed at the Carter Mining company in Gillette, WY and was dean of the Mining Department at Sheridan College. After teaching in the college, he worked for the Kerr McGee Coal Corporation for 15 years. He had also been a director in EnTec, a consulting firm in Energy Technology in Rapid City and also installed computerized rail scales for coal companies. Working on his roadster car was his favorite pastime and he was an avid member of the National Street Rod Association. He was also a member of the Society of Mining Engineers. Survivors are his wife Beverly of Edmond; his son, Kevin Krause; mother, Irene Krause; father-in-law, Charles Teller; one brother, Russell Krause; and two sisters, Judy Halamka and Lorna Watkins. He was preceded in death by his ' father, Levi Krause; brother-in-law. James H. Halamka; and mother-in-law. Teresa Zeller.
