| Transcript | 57006 AUG 28 2003 Clear Lake Courier Brian Weiss � Brian Weiss, age 35, of Pennsylvania, and formally of Pierre, SD passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2003 in Pennsylvania as a result of a motorcycle accident. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 22nd at the Lutheran Memorial Church in Pierre with burial in the Riverside Cemetery at Pierre. Brian Edward Weiss was born on November 2, 1967 to Michael and Betty (Gruener) Weiss in Aberdeen, SD. He attended Pierre schools and graduated in 1986 from T.F. Riggs High School. He then attended South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City, graduating in 1991. While he attended SDSM&T he was a member of the Theta Tau Fraternity. He lived in Chicago for six years and worked for Dor-a-matic. He then moved to Reedsville Pennsylvania and was a Senior Electrical Engineer for Overhead Door up until his time of death. Brian enjoyed baseball, motorcycles, mountain hiking and flying airplanes. He especially enjoyed hunting pheasants at Faulkton with his family. Brian is survived by his parents. Mike and Betty Weiss of Pierre, SD; two brothers, Eric and his wife, Lynette Weiss of Pierre, SD and David Weiss of Pierre, SD and fianc� Sara and her son, Austin of Rapid City. SD; his grandparents, Esther Weiss of Faulkton, SD and Earl and Emma Gruener of Clear Lake. SD; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Roy Weiss; and one uncle Richard Weiss. |
