Stucker Harold Stucker, 71, died Wednesday, September 24th. in Haverhill, MA. Born in Ellendale. ND, son of R. Reed and Maude (Hatfield) Stucker he resided in Somersworth, N.H since 1964. Mr. Stucker served in the United States Navy abroard the USS Shangri-la during the Second World War. Following the war, Mr. Stucker studied Military Engineering at Texas A&M. A member of the Tau Beta Pi honor society, Mr. Stucker received highest honors for his Baccalaureate Studies at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. General Electric, which employed Mr. Stucker for 40 years, patented and produced many of his designs including the Gecor magnet. Mr. Stucker is survived by Bernice, his wife of 43 years; five sons: H. Rhys Stucker of Sanford, ME; Eric P. Stucker of Salisbury, MA; Kirk R. Stucker of Somersworth, NH; Brian K. Stucker of Newmarket, NH and Craig E. Stucker of No. Andover, MA; one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Kimberly) Pouliot, South Berwick, ME; one brother, Dennis Stucker of Aberdeen, SD; thirteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the First Parish Congregational Church in Somersworth, NH on September 29, 1997. |
