The MWMC was first held in 1949 and has been sponsored since that time by many of the most prestigious universities in the nation. Seven keynote presentations will be made, along with over 70 individual papers. Many different foreign countries will be represented. For additional information, contact Dr. Chris Jenkins, Assoc. Monday, Sept. 22: 1997 SDSM& T Career Fair 9: 00 a. m. - noon; 1: 30 - 4: 30 p. m., Surbeck Center Ballroom With nearly 50 companies and organizations scheduled to participate, this will be the largest recruiting event ever on the Tech campus. Among the companies attending this year's Career Fair are Archer Daniels Midland, Barrick Goldstrike Mines, Boeing, Cargill, Cray Research/ Silicon Graphics, Gateway 2000, Hewett Packard, Hughes STX ( EROS Data Center), Hutchinson Technology Inc., Kiewit Mining Group, Martin & Associates, Microsoft Corporation, 3M, Seagate, Sencore Electronics, Rockwell Avionics and U. S. Steel.
