Amy's area of concentration is environmental engineering. She is the daughter of Linda and Timothy Atwater of Arvada, CO. Christopher is the son of Dennis and Jan Matkins of Rapid City. His fields of specialty include water treatment engineering and water resources engineering. " Amy and Chris are to be congratulated on their achievement in receiving a graduate degree from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, " said Dr. Wendell Hovey, Chair and Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering.
