The Order of Omega is a national Greek honorary society. It was founded in 1959 upon the belief that individuals in the Greek community should be recognized for their service to the fraternity system and to the university. The purpose of the Order of Omega is to recognize fraternity men and women who have attained a high standard of leadership to foster continued leadership among its members and to inspire others to strive for similar achievements. Selection to the honorary society is based on application and grade point average, and is limited to the top 3 percent of the Greek community who are juniors or above.
