Approximately 120 students were candidates for degrees during Tech's 148th Commencement. South Dakota Team alum Marv Truhe, a Rapid City attorney, delivered the commencement address. Naomi Fossen of Pierre, S.D., gave the senior class message. Tech also awarded five Distinguished Alumni awards to Tech graduates who have made tremendous contributions to their professions and their communities.
