| Transcript | By Brad Blume Sports Information Director South Dakota School of Mines RAPID CITY --- In what looked to be a one-woman show just a few weeks ago for the South Dakota School of Mines women's golf program has now changed into a full fledged lineup as the Lady Roster added three new recruits to the roster over the past two weeks which gives SDSM&T a full team to work with. Stephanie Leber, a sophomore from Dell Rapids, S.D., and Jodi Kaup, a sophomore from Black Hawk, S.D., joined the team last Sunday and competed in the Blue Hawk Invitational in Dickinson, N.D., and then Emilia Juhl, a freshman from Lavern, Minn., was added to the squad Friday afternoon. Juhl, a Metallurgical Engineer major, played golf in high school and said she enjoys being apart of the team as well as playing the game of golf. Hardrocker head coach Eric Glenn said she would not be going to the Jamestown College Invitation this weekend, but would join the rest of the Hardrockers after that. The Jamestown meet is a two-day tournament, which starts Sunday at Jamestown Country Club in North Dakota. The three new Rockers join senior standout Lisa Steever, an Industrial Engineering Major, from Custer. Steever currently sits in seventh place in the Dakota Athletic Conference standings with 15 points. Black Hills State's Jaime Bentley, the defending DAC title holder, is currently first with 21 points. |
