St. Joseph Street • Rapid City, SD 57701- 3995 Phone: ( 605) 394- 6082/ 2554 • Fax: ( 605) 394- 3388 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ( April 23, 1997) TORRINGTON STUDENT TO PARTICIPATE IN SDSM& T UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM ‘ 97 Dan Dungan of Torrington, who is attending the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, is participating in the 2nd Annual SDSM& T Undergraduate Research Symposium ' 97 this Saturday, April 26. Dan is a senior mechanical engineering major at South Dakota Tech. He is the son of Don and Betty Dungan of Torrington. Dan's research project is a team poster presentation entitled, " Verification of a Finite Element Analysis of Controlled Boundary Displacements of an Inflatable Mylar Structure." Undergraduate students from South Dakota's universities will give oral and poster presentations on their latest research in the fields of Engineering, Science and Social Sciences.
