Shannon's parents are Don Peterson and Julie Mastel of Bismarck. Shannon's research project is a poster presentation entitled, " Benthic Macroinvertebrate Study to Determine Health of Rapid Creek." Undergraduate students from South Dakota's universities will give oral and poster presentations on their latest research in the fields of Engineering, Science and Social Sciences.
