Men's Basketball The South Dakota School of Mines men's basketball team took the long dreaded road trip to Minot, N.D., Sunday for the first round of the Dakota Athletic Conference playoffs against Minot State, where the Comets were able to stave off a late Hardrocker rally and hold on for a 76-73 victory. The Lady ‘Rockers end with an 18-11 overall record. In Sunday's bout, the Comets surged in the second half of play to end the Hardrockers' season.
