HELENA STUDENT GETS HANDS- ON LESSON ABOUT LAWS OF PHYSICS FROM SDSM& T MUSEUM IN MOTION EXHIBITS During a recent visit to Storybook Island in Rapid City, Cody Suing of St. Helena received a fun, hands- on lesson about the laws of physics from the SDSM& T Museum in Motion exhibits that were on display at Storybook Island. The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology ( SDSM& T) was Storybook Island's Sponsor- For- A- Day when Cody visited the popular children's park in Rapid City. In conjunction with being a Storybook Island sponsor, SDSM& T displayed traveling Museum in Motion exhibits, as well as the Mini Baja, Mini- Indy, solar car, and concrete canoe vehicles that Tech students designed, built and raced in national competitions earlier this year. SDSM& T's solar car, Dakota Sun, is immediately behind Cody Suing. ++ 30++ ( f:\ programs\ dept\ univrel\ pressrele\ 0907\ Storybook Sponsor Hartington NE)
