I'm asking for an RSVP so we don't leave anyone at the bottom of the hill. A Tech vehicle will ferry all media up and down. For safety reasons, we can't allow media vehicles on the hill. Please arrive at the M-Day picnic just west of Rapid Trout on Omaha Street no later than 12:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20. We will start taking people up at that time. If you arrive earlier, feel free to eat at the picnic. Thanks for your assistance. If you haven't seen the event before, it's quite a sight. Students will dump barrels of whitewash down the "M" before sliding down the freshly painted icon. Seniors will lay a plaque that commemorates their class. After the students walk down the hill, they will play mud volleyball in the courts near the picnic area. I hope to see you there. #30# |
