TranscriptKC-135 Media Plan 7/8: Release to Black Hills media about project - Needs quotes from two team members - Best scenario: Identify time and place for media to visit campus, see the project and talk with team members. - Otherwise, release needs contact numbers for three team members for possible follow-up interviews - Video release to TV stations using previous project footage. Steve will arrange for tapes. 7/8: Hometown releases to each student's hometown paper - Need spreadsheet with all team members' names, hometowns, majors, role on team 7/10: Steve meets with Rapid City media outlets to set up coverage of project from Houston 7/15: Release about team leaving later in the week Each day while team is in Houston: John Keefner calls Steve at (605) 394-6082 to update what happened that day, what the team went through, and what the day was like. Steve will download NASA photos for media distribution and make sure TV stations know video is available. It would be best to have a set time each day to call. - Another option is to have John Keefner email an update each day, answering questions Steve sends to john.keefner@sdsmt.edu. When team returns: Release that wraps up the trip to Black Hills media and to hometowns. #30#
