This summer the Children's Science Center is the perfect place for them to do that through summer enrichment classes. The Children Science Center will offer the classes to children ages 6-12. Each class runs from 9 a.m. to noon each Thursday and Friday starting June 6. The Center also will offer one-day Wednesday classes once a month. Prices are $25 for members and $27.50 for non-members. Material fees may be extra for some classes. You can pick up and drop off registration forms at the Center, 515 West Blvd., Rapid City. The registration deadline is at least one week prior to start of each class. Classes are limited to the first 15 who register. The first summer class takes place this Thursday and Friday, June 6 and 7, 9 a.m. to noon. Kites to Satellites: Discover the power of lift and how it has taken photography and imaging to new heights.
