Tickets are free with a Tech ID and for everyone younger than 12, and $5 for those older than 12. Tech students will perform, produce and direct the production. Steve Martin of Saturday Night Live fame wrote the play. The story is set in the Lapin Agile, a Paris Café, in 1903. Enter Albert Einstein and Picasso. Einstein and Picasso engage in an intriguing conversation about science versus art, and which will have more influence on the upcoming century. The play is set just before Einstein wrote his "Theory of Relativity, " and shortly before Picasso created his first cubist painting. Several other very wacky characters enter the café to make the story a funny yet thoughtful play about art, science and the meaning of life. #30# |
