The Honors Convocation is held to present awards to students, faculty, and friends of Tech in recognition of their outstanding service and academic achievements. A total of 115 awards were given to students, faculty, and friends. The award categories included Academic Achievement; Leadership Awards, Departmental Awards, Seniors Graduating in 2000 With Highest Honors, Departmental Awards, Frank and Marilyn Richardson Scholars, Mines Award For Outstanding Public Service, Mines Award For Outstanding Teaching, Benard A. Ennenga Award, Virginia Simpson Award, L. Richard Kitchen Award, and a Presidential Award For Outstanding Professor. # 30# |
