St. Joseph Street • Rapid City, SD 57701- 3995 Phone: ( 605) 394- 6082/ 2554 • Fax: ( 605) 394- 6177 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 15, 2002 LOCAL STUDENTS NAMED TO DEAN'S LIST AT SOUTH DAKOTA SCHOOL OF MINES & TECHNOLOGY The following students from Sioux Falls were named to the Dean's List at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology for the 2001 fall semester: Luke Albers, Electrical Engineering; George Douglas, Metallurgical Engineering; Matthew Frederickson, Chemical Engineering; Eric Knutson, Mechanical Engineering; Steven Lipetzky, Civil and Environmental Engineering; John Myers, Chemical Engineering; Thor Nankivel, Geology; Shane Roby, Chemical Engineering; Brian Vander Lugt, Electrical Engineering; Vanessa Victor, Electrical Engineering. A total of 452 students qualified for the Dean's List. To qualify for the Dean's List, undergraduate students must earn a grade point average of 3.40 or higher for the semester; carry nine or more credit hours; and not have any " F" or " Incomplete" grades. # 30# |
