The team placed first in the Army Physical Fitness Test with a score of 298 out of a possible 300 and in the 10K Forced Ruck March with a winning margin of 11 minutes. The Rapid City students were Aaron Buchholz, a Civil and Environmental Engineering major, Jon Vaughn, an Interdisciplinary Science major, and Bryan Woods, a Mechanical Engineering major. The other team members from Tech were Jon Vaughn, an Interdisciplinary Science major from West Long Beach, N. J., Jordan Lanning, a Civil and Environmental Engineering major from Jefferson, William Mulder, a Mechanical Engineering major from Corsica, and Roy Gullickson, an Electrical Engineering major from Marion The BHSU students were Adam Romkema, a wellness composite major from Spearfish, and Savannah Hall, a biology major from Spearfish. The team competed against Colorado University at Boulder, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Colorado State University and the University of Wyoming. # 30# |
