Approximately 200 students were candidates for degrees during Tech's 143rd Commencement. Douglas Aldrich, a Tech alum, and currently the global manager of lab facilities for Dow Corning Corporation in Midland, Mich., gave the commencement address. Brent Scheele of Belle Fourche, S. D., delivered the senior class message. Tech also honored 35 alumni who graduated 50 years ago.
