| Transcript | FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 14, 2001 Contact: Steve Buchholz, ( 605) 394- 6082 DI Teams To Sponsor Disney Movie All proceeds from the showing of Disney's " Recess" on Saturday, May 19, at the Elks Theater will benefit the four Rapid City Destination ImagiNation teams that qualified for the competition's World Finals. Admission to the 11: 30 a. m. show is $ 2.50. After the movie, the winning Destination ImagiNation raffle tickets will be drawn. Prizes include a BMX youth bicycle, a night's stay at the Hayloft Bed and Breakfast, and a gas- powered lawn edger. Tickets will be available at the theater. The DI World Finals are scheduled for May 23 through May 26 in Knoxville, Tenn. The trip will cost the teams $ 35, 000. Team members have held several fund- raising events. The four teams – two from Wilson Elementary, one from Pinedale Elementary and one from Central High School – earned the World Finals invitation by winning the South Dakota Destination ImagiNation competition. # 30# |
