Directors of all 52 space grant consortia, education program personnel and NASA education staff are scheduled to attend. - more-- - 2- Wed. Oct 8 ( cont.): Program topics include Space Grant Teacher Professional Development Programs, NASA/ Space Grant Educational Programs, NASA Centers and Space Grant as Partners in K- 12 Programs, and Strategic Enterprise Working Groups. The luncheon speaker will be Dr. Ken Hoffman, President, National Alliance of State Mathematics and Science Coalitions, " National Standards and Beyond." Thursday, Oct. 9: Kick- Off for SDSM& T Center of Excellence in Advanced Manufacturing & Production ( CAMP) 11: 30 a. m., Surbeck Center Ballroom CAMP is an important new program on campus help provide the best design/ manufacturing education to Tech students and also help companies solve design and manufacturing problems through the use of enterprise teams. SDSM& T President Dr. Richard Gowen will make the formal CAMP announcement. Dr. Michael Batchelder, Interim Dean of College of Systems Engineering, and Dr. Dan Dolan, Professor of Mechanical Engineering will explain the operation of the center.
