Pioneer School of Mines and Technology - Rapid City South Dakota School of Mines and Technology's 133rd commencement was held on Saturday, December 16, at Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Theater in Rapid City, South Dakota. Julie Anderson of Bowman received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. A total of 95 students received degrees. Al Cornelia was the commencement speaker. Earlier in 1995, Cornelia was appointed by President Clinton to be Commissioner for the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission. He serves on the Rapid Fund Board of Directors, Rapid City Air and Space Museum and the Rapid City Foundation. |
