St. Joseph Street • Rapid City, SD 57701- 3995 Phone: ( 605) 394- 6082/ 2554 • Fax: ( 605) 394- 6177 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 29, 2001 LOCAL STUDENTS NAMED TO DEAN'S LIST AT SOUTH DAKOTA SCHOOL OF MINES & TECHNOLOGY Thirteen students from Sioux Falls were named to the Dean's List at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology ( SDSM& T) for the 2000 fall semester. The students were senior Adam Aasen, mechanical engineering; sophomore Luke Albers, electrical engineering; senior Ryan Caldwell, chemical engineering; senior Traci Costello, chemical engineering; freshman Adam Dickinson, computer science; freshman Eric Knutson, engineering; freshman Steven Lipetzky, engineering; senior Bradley Misterek, computer science; junior John Myers, chemical engineering; senior Brent Peterson, civil and environmental engineering; freshman Thomas Severson, mechanical engineering; freshman Kyle Treloar, civil and environmental engineering; and junior Brian Vander Lugt, electrical engineering. One student from Tea was also named to the Dean's List. The student was junior Thor Nankivel, geology. A total of 433 students qualified for the Dean's List. To qualify for the SDSM& T Dean's List, undergraduate students must earn a Grade Point Average of 3.40 or higher for the semester; carry nine or more credit hours; and not have any " F" or " Incomplete" grades. ++ 30++ ( I: univrel/ pressrel/ 2001 01/ 29/ Dean's List) |
