The seminar runs from 8: 00 a. m. to 4: 45 p. m. in the Surbeck Center Ballroom on the Tech campus. Dr. M. R. Hansen, SDSM& T Associate Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering, will serve as moderator for the seminar. Individuals making presentations include J. D. Mason, Analytic Geography, Rapid City, " GPS, GIS and Map Making"; Laura Castelnovo, U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, " The Needs of the Customer"; Dean Scott, Rapid City, " GPS and Professional Surveying"; Brian Bernhard, Yankton, " GPS - Determining your Niche"; Warren Fisk, President, Fisk Engineering, Rapid City, " Professional Update"; Dr. Toni Logar, SDSM& T Professor of Computer Science, " Surveyors and the World Wide Web ( WWW.)"; Don Wrede, Galyardt Associates, Rapid City, " Original Surveying of Rapid City"; Dr. Chuck Tiltrum, SDSU Associate CEE Professor, " The Surveying of Eastern South Dakota"; and Ben Lamke, Rapid City, " West River Chapter SDSPLS Activities." The registration fee is $ 75 ($ 10 for students and retirees) and includes lunch. Seminar participants can earn continuing education credits. For additional information, contact Dr. M. R.
