[Submitted Photo) Two Platte Students Awarded Scholarships Mariah Hall Tooley and Stephanie Randall of Platte were among the recipients of the first Dakota Corps Scholarships awarded by Gov. Mike Rounds at a luncheon ceremony in Sioux Falls, July 7. Mariah and Stephanie are two of 37 college freshmen who will receive the full tuition scholarship designed to help fill critical need occupations in South Dakota. Mariah will attend the School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City as a math major and plans to teach high school math. She is the daughter of William Tooley and Marti Bobertz of Platte. Stephanie will attend South Dakota State University and study nursing. She is the daughter of Steve and Karen Randall. Both girls are 2004 Platte High graduates.
