School of Mines and Technology constructed this off-road vehicle powered by an 8 h.p. Briggs and Stratton engine to compete against entries from some 70 other engineering schools next April at Chandler, AZ. The team must design and build a four-wheeled, single seat off-road vehicle that is safe, easily transported and fun to drive at a cost of less than $2, 5OO.
