Clipping Bureau Box 2230 Brookings, SD 57007 1___ Ipswich Tribune | 7 Weron graduates from SDSM&T Corby Weron of Ipswich was a candidate for a Bachelor of Science degree from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (SDSM&T) during SDSM&T's spring commencement ceremony on May 13, 2000. Weron was a candidate for a degree in mechanical engineering. The commencement address was given by Dr. Bill Hughes of Rapid City. Hughes also was presented with an Honorary Doctorate of Science Degree during the ceremony. Special honored guests also include Executive Director, South Dakota Board of Regents Dr. Tad Perry, twenty-seven 50-year graduates from the 1950 SDSM&T class, and the 2000 Guy E. March Medalist, John Duff Erickson. The Guy E. March Medal is the highest alumni award that recognizes outstanding professional achievement. Charles Cox of Yankton delivered the senior class message.
