He is a mechanical engineering major at SDSM& T. Patterson is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers ( ASME), the Human Powered Vehicle Team and track and field. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding and running. Patterson is sponsored by the Athletic Department.
