She is an industrial engineering major at SDSM& T. Hartung is a member of Concert Choir, Master Chorale and the Institute of Industrial Engineers ( IIE), the organization sponsoring her court nomination. She is also a Science Fair judge and a campus tour guide. In her spare time, she enjoys singing and Rollerblading.
