This hilarious comedy will be shown at the Elks Theatre Sunday, January 30 at 6: 00 pm. The film is sponsored by US Bank and Dean Kurtz Construction Company. Adam's Rib is one of Hollywood's greatest comedies featuring Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy at their best. The two appear in this 1949 blockbuster as Adam and Amanda Bonner, husband and wife, who as attorneys find themselves on separate sides of a bizarre legal trial-- incredible hilarity ensues. Judy Holliday also appears in her first film role. Adam's Rib is the fourth in a series of 10 films to be presented by the Friends of the Devereaux Library and the Elks Theatre. Films will be shown each Sunday evening at 6: 00 pm. Ticket booklets for the entire series are available at the Elks Theatre and the Devereaux Library at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology.
