St. Joseph Street Rapid City, SD 57701- 3995 Phone: ( 605) 394- 6082/ 2554 Fax: ( 605) 394- 6177 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ( May 27, 1999) LOCAL STUDENTS NAMED TO DEAN'S LIST AT SOUTH DAKOTA SCHOOL OF MINES & TECHNOLOGY Five students from Spearfish were named to the Dean's List at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology ( SDSM& T) for the 1999 spring semester. The students are senior Jami Barraclough, interdisciplinary sciences; sophomore Casey Jeffery, computer engineering; senior Kent Story, electrical engineering; sophomore Lindsay Young, civil and environmental engineering; and Paul Lewis, industrial engineering. Lewis was a recent candidate for a Bachelor of Science degree at Tech's 139th commencement. To qualify for the SDSM& T Dean's List, undergraduate students must earn a Grade Point Average of 3.40 or higher for the semester, and carry nine or more credit hours. ++ 30++ ( I: univrel/ pressrel/ 0599/ Dean's List Spearfish)
