Andrea Lucas won 3rd Place/ 6th Grade- Biology for her science project entitled " Blood Pressure… It has its Highs and Lows." Jenna Lucas won 1st Place/ 6th Grade- Physical for a science project entitled " A Shower a Day… Brings Meteorites Our Way." Charlie Her Many Horses won 5th Place/ 6th Grade- Biology for a science project entitled " Tomato/ Tomato." Jade Herman won 2nd Place/ 7th Grade- Physical for a science project entitled " Barometric Behavior." Whitney Lucas won 3rd Place/ 8th Grade- Physical for her science project entitled " Mni Wiconi- Water is Life." Shannon McCloskey won Life Sciences and Outstanding Project US Army Awards for her science project entitled " To Clean and Protect." Dennis McDaniel Influencing Factors on Reflex Action Jennifer Shooter Organic Insulation Jackie Whipple Shigella Kacee Longcor Taste of Age The 44th Annual High Plains Regional Science & Engineering Fair featured 375 middle and high school students from 32 area schools competing in various science and engineering categories.
