St. Joseph Street • Rapid City, SD 57701- 3995 Phone: ( 605) 394- 6082/ 2554 • Fax: ( 605) 394- 6177 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: ( March 10, 1999) LOCAL STUDENTS NAMED TO DEAN'S LIST AT SOUTH DAKOTA SCHOOL OF MINES & TECHNOLOGY Steven Gallion, Hannah Gibson and Noack of Philip; Josh Cuppy and Jana Johnson of Quinn; and Tony Fischer of Midland were named to the Dean's List at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology ( SDSM& T) for the 1998 fall semester. Cuppy and Gibson are sophomores majoring in computer engineering and industrial engineering respectively, while Noack is a senior interdisciplinary sciences major. Fischer, Gallion, and Johnson are freshmen students at South Dakota Tech majoring in mechanical engineering, special studies and science respectively. To qualify for the SDSM& T Dean's List, undergraduate students must earn a Grade Point Average of 3.40 or higher for the semester; carry nine or more credit hours; and not have any " F" or " Incomplete" grades. ++ 30++ ( i:\ univrel\ pressrele\ 0399\ Deans List Philip) |
