St. Joseph Street • Rapid City, SD 57701- 3995 Phone: ( 605) 394- 6082/ 2554 • Fax: ( 605) 394- 6177) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: ( March 8, 1999) SDSM& T CAMPUS EVENTS FOR WEEK OF MARCH 8- 15, 1999 South Dakota School of Mines & Technology ( SDSM& T) events occurring during the week of March 8- 15, 1999, include the following activities: Mon.- Fri., March 8- 12: Spring Break – No classes United Campus Ministry Students and Master Chorale Touring Israel A group of United Campus Ministry students and community members, along with the SDSM& T Master Chorale, is spending spring break doing service work and touring religious and cultural sites in Israel. The group will be working at a YMCA or Hope School in Bethlehem or Nazareth. SDSM& T's Master Chorale also is performing concerts in Israel. Thurs., March 11: March of Dimes Babies & You: " Exercise during Pregnancy" Speaker: Marni Krebsbach, RD 7: 00 ��� 8: 00 pm, Didier Education Center ( CB 204W) Fri.- Sun, March 12- 14: Human- Powered Vehicle ( HPV) Team at Rushmore Mall 4: 00- 9: 00 pm ( Friday); 10: 00 am– 7: 00 pm ( Saturday); 11: 00 am– 6: 00 pm ( Sunday) SDSM& T student team members will display their HPV at the Rushmore Mall and will be selling raffle tickets to raise funds to compete in the national HPV contest.
