In addition, Bonnie Cecil was selected by SDSM& T students as the recipient of the 1999 Outstanding Student Service Employee of the Year Award. Individuals honored for their years of SDSM& T service included the following Career Service employees: Dean Awe, Tech Print Center ( 10 yrs); Lawrence Beagle, Physical Plant ( 10 yrs); Deanna Edwards, Dean of Students Office ( 10 yrs); Toni Erickson, Physical Plant ( 5 yrs); Pam Fenner, Geology & GeolE ( 10 yrs); V. J. Hedrick, Instructional Technology Services ( 5 yrs); Randy Lemme, Physical Plant ( 5 yrs); Donna Neal, Devereaux Library ( 20 yrs); Dale Nickels, Mining Engineering ( 15 yrs); and Richard Wold, Chem. & ChemE ( 5 yrs). Tradition of Excellence Awardees who were honored and the month in which they received the award are as follows: Kathy Crawford, Academic & Enrollment Services ( April); Lisa DeVries, Human Resources ( June); Deanna Edwards, Dean of Students Office ( November); Sheila Lien, Graduate Education & Sponsored Programs ( July); Sandra Meier, Debit Card Office ( August); John Morgan, Civil & Environmental Enineering ( May); Jeanette Nilson, Physics ( February); Rosemary Robertson, Physical Plant ( September); Sherrill Selwyn, Physical Plant ( October); Vi Stoltz, Vice President's Office ( December); Carol Stork, Debit Card Office ( January); and Floyd Straw, Physical Plant ( October). Chuck Cox, Student Association President, presented the 1999 Outstanding Student Service Award to Bonnie Cecil.
