Area candidates for Bachelor of Science degrees from SDSM& T with their hometown and major are as follows: Aberdeen: Tracy Beckler, Chemical Engineering with Highest Honors Erika Helms, Industrial Engineering Christopher Klein, Mining Engineering Conde: Brent Klapperich, Industrial Engineering Eureka: Chad Glaesman, Chemical Engineering with Highest Honors Groton: Michael Felkey, Industrial Engineering McIntosh: Scott Schuh, Mechanical Engineering Mellette: Jason Osborn, Mechanical Engineering Timber Lake: Kurt Leibel, Chemical Engineering with Highest Honors [ Highest Honors = 3.80- 4.00GPA; High Honors = 3.60- 3.79GPA; Honors = 3.40- 3.59 GPA.] SDSM& T's commencement ceremony was held May 10 in the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Arena. The commencement address was given by Daniel S. Goldin, Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration ( NASA), Washington, DC.
