St. Joseph Street • Rapid City, SD 57701- 3995 Phone: ( 605) 394- 6082/ 2554 • Fax: ( 605) 394- 6177 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: ( January 25, 1999) WINNER STUDENTS RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS FROM SOUTH DAKOTA SCHOOL OF MINES & TECHNOLOGY Daniel Drake, Dana Foreman, Russell Neyens, and Randy Ringstmeyer of Winner were awarded scholarships by the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology ( SDSM& T) for the 1998- 99 academic year. Graduates of Winner High School, the four students are all majoring in civil and environmental engineering at SDSM& T. Drake and Neyens, who are both juniors, received the George Tlustos Memorial Scholarship and the Dacotah Cement Scholarship respectively in the amount of $ 1, 000. Foreman, who is a senior, was awarded the Consulting Engineers Council Scholarship in the amount of $ 500.
