St. Joseph Street Rapid City, SD 57701- 3995 Phone: ( 605) 394- 6082/ 2554 Fax: ( 605) 394- 6177 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: ( February 2, 1999) NORTHERN HILLS STUDENTS RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS FROM SOUTH DAKOTA SCHOOL OF MINES & TECHNOLOGY Students from the northern Black Hills who were awarded scholarships by the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology ( SDSM& T) for the 1998- 99 academic year include Brian Mitchell, Deadwood; Todd Morrison and Andrew Sieveke, Lead; and Joel Smith, Spearfish. Mitchell, a freshman chemical engineering major at SDSM& T, received the Dow Chemical Scholarship ($ 250). Morrison, a senior mechanical engineering major, received the Walter & Dorothy Graham Scholarship ($ 400). Sieveke, a freshman chemical engineering major, was awarded the Cargill Scholarship ($ 250) and the Shell Undergraduate Scholarship ($ 250).
