Benefit Spaghetti Dinner/ Auction this Saturday to Raise Funds for Bone Marrow Transplant for 3- Year- Old Leukemia Victim Jon Dean Trupe A spaghetti dinner and silent auction will be held this Saturday, May 16th, at the Rapid City Elks Lodge to raise funds for a bone marrow transplant for Jon Dean Trupe. He is three years old and has leukemia. No donor has been matched yet, but Jon Dean is undergoing heavy chemotherapy for at least the next month if not longer. It is likely that he and his parents could spend the next six months in Minneapolis for all of the treatments and transplant. The benefit dinner will be as follows: Date : Saturday, May 16, 1998 Time : 2: 30 PM until 10: 00 PM Place: Elks Lodge ( Highway 44 East, Turn at Jolly Lane) Event: Pasta Feed with three sauces, salad, bread, drink Cost : Suggested $ 10/ Adult, $ 5/ child Entertainment: Cadillac Jukebox and Flying " T" bands with possible showing by other notable area bands Silent Auction: Sponsored by Does Drove # 33 This dinner is open to the public and all are welcome. SHORTENED PSA VERSION: The public is invited to a benefit spaghetti dinner and auction this Saturday to raise funds for a bone marrow transplant for Jon Dean Trupe, a three- year- old leukemia victim who needs a bone marrow transplant. The benefit runs from 2: 30 - 10: 00 p. m., Saturday, May 16th, at the Elks Lodge. The suggested donation for the pasta feed is $ 10/ adult and $ 5/ child. Entertainment will be provided by the Cadillac Jukebox and Flying T bands. A silent auction also is being sponsored by Does Drove # 33.
