| Full text | I stand here searching, peering, waiting A dense for envelops, enshrouds my being I sense freedom Like the glare of a jealous onlooker Here I stand, a bystander to my own life Nothings grows here IN this dark, dismal abyss Welcoming non but the grey and mundane, the dreary Wading through this fog, I hear my destiny beckon Through the silence it echoes But, I am shackled Shackled by circumstances and self-loathing Here I stand, a bystander to my own life Wait, Through the columns of haze I see A minute figure dancing In mid-air waltz To mine eyes it seems romancing A hummingbird has come for me Come to lead me home |
