DescriptionStudents rescuing documents from Old College Hall, which burned down in a few hours on the afternoon of February 12, 1955. The students and faculty saved the records of the registrar, academic dean and documents from the Friends of the Middle Boarder. Despite the students' efforts, a large number of monographs, art pieces, documents, manuscripts and records were lost from the DWU library, Friends of the Middle Boarder, the school's paper The Phreno Cosmian, and a number of classrooms and offices.
