SDSM& T HONORS MANDAN STUDENT
Bryan Roll of Mandan, North Dakota, a student at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, received two awards during SDSM& T’s recent Forty- sixth Annual Honors Convocation. The ceremony is held each spring to recognize SDSM& T students, faculty, staff members, and community leaders for their outstanding work and support of the university.
University President Richard J. Gowen presented Roll with the William A. Hixon Award for Electrical and Computer Engineering. Roll also received the Senior with Highest Honors Award, which recognizes seniors who have a Grade Point Average of 3.8 or greater.
“ Bryan Roll is to be congratulated on receiving these honors. The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology offers top- notch educational opportunities which combine traditions of excellence with the latest technologies. We are pleased that Bryan is a part of the South Dakota Tech family,” said SDSM& T President Richard Gowen.
