Bauer receives honor
f Dana Bauer of Kulm, N.D., a stu-'dent at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, received the Senior with Highest Honors Award during SDSM&T's receni Forty-sixth Annual Honors Convocation. The ceremony is held each spring to recognize SDSM&Tstudcnts,faculty,staff members, and community leaders for thetr outstanding work and support of the university.
University President Richard J. Gowen pressented Bauer with the award. The Senior with the Highest Honors Award recognizes seniors who have a Grade Point Average of 3.8 or higher. Dana is the son of Dan and ConnieBauer, the grandson of Lorraine Biel of Java, and the great grandson of -Marie Bieber of Mobridge, S.D.
